Top 3 "Positive Tester" Moments

Without a doubt, players who have tested positive for performance enhancing drugs were involved in many historic moments. From World Series appearances to all-time records, here are your top three:

1. Boston Red Sox, World Series Champions 2004, 2007
First on this list is not a moment at all. It is a series of amazing moments created by some of the best sluggers of all time. After not winning the World Series since 1918, the Red Sox franchise began putting together a team of all-stars. Led by baseball greats like pitchers Pedro Martinez and Curt Schilling, their sluggers were Manny Ramirez and David "Big Papi" Ortiz. Both tested positive. This really raises a red flag on a team that accomplished so much in the baseball world.

2. Alex Rodriguez, The Contract
This player has put up some of the most amazing numbers of all time. He is clearly on his way to hitting the most home runs ever. Alex Rodriguez is an allstar, he wins gold gloves, and he can flat out hit the baseball. These are all reasons why he was awarded a 10 year, $275 million contract from the New York Yankees. Little did they know, he too would test positive.

3. Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa, "Home Run Derby"
The third moment on this list was during the infamous 1998 season, when these mammoths hit home runs like the balls were filled with helium. Their performance had the baseball community entranced. Each racing for the record set by Maris, McGwire would eventually win. The season was captured in a moment when Sosa hugged McGwire in congratulations. While Sosa was the only one to test positive, many could find reason to accuse McGwire of the same.
